The Journey of Adoption
Adopting a child is a wonderful and joyous experience. So many emotions are entered into in the journey to create your family! Sadness at the loss of a biological child due to possible infertility and untold joy at the prospect of welcoming a child into your life through adoption are a few of the emotions that you will experience. One thing is certain: adoption is a very special way of bringing a family together!
The staff at Family Tree is here to work closely with you to provide expert counseling and services in assisting you throughout your loving adoption journey. Since 1991 the agency has helped unite countless families and children in the loving journey called adoption.
Family Tree Adoption Agency believes in openness in adoption as well as open adoptions. Openness and open adoptions are beneficial to those who are connected to adoption: the birth family, adoptive family and most importantly the adopted child. We refer to this unique relationship as the “Adoption Circle.” The “Adoption Circle” forms an endless bond of love, commitment and connection between adoptive parents, birth parents and child throughout the child’s life. Always connected, never broken, an unending stream of energy flows within the “Adoption Circle.” FTAA educates prospective adoptive families about birth families, degrees of openness, open adoptions and other adoption issues.
Family Tree offers programs for families seeking children of different races, ages and cultural backgrounds. We are skilled at working in both Domestic and International Adoptions and offer families many choices of programs and options that best suit you and your family. Founded in 1991, Family Tree was ‘born’ out of the personal adoption experience of Cindi Fabozzi. After the adoption of her son, Cindi along with the assistance of Dianna McGreevy created Family Tree Adoption Agency. The agency provides quality and ethical services for families trying to adopt and for birth parents looking to place their children for adoption.
More than a labor of love, Family Tree brings to those entering into adoption the experience of trained counselors and educators and the first hand knowledge of adoptive parents and relatives.
Nothing speaks to the heart of adoption like an adoptive parent who empathizes with your needs and the needs of the birth parent in helping to create a nurturing and loving experience for the child and family. Social workers, psychologists, educators and families of adoption all combine their strengths, knowledge and compassion to promote positive adoptions for Family Tree clients.
